The Fourth Orthopedic Trauma Management Branch Academic Conf

On December 4-5, 2020, the "Fourth Academic Conference of the Trauma Orthopedics Management Branch of the Guangdong Medical Industry Association and the First" Peace Forum "Academic Seminar on Congenital Malformations of Limbs" was held at the Shangri La Hotel in Guangzhou, hosted by the Guangdong Medical Industry Association, organized by the Trauma Orthopedics Management Branch of the Guangdong Medical Industry Association, and co organized by the Guangzhou Heping Orthopedic Hospital.

This conference will be held offline and live streamed online to gather forward-looking consensus and promote the development of the discipline. Renowned experts in trauma orthopedics, microsurgery, and limb congenital malformation plastic surgery from home and abroad will be invited to give exciting lectures, sharing the latest developments and relevant clinical experiences in this field. The conference also held a competition for outstanding cases of young doctors (special topics of orthopaedics and hand microsurgery), and carried out a warm and in-depth discussion, exchange and interaction with the idea of combining the practicability and progressiveness of the courses.

Professor Huang Dong, the current chairman of the Trauma Orthopedics Management Branch of the Guangdong Medical Industry Association and the president of Guangzhou Heping Orthopedic Hospital, first delivered a welcome speech. The conference was chaired by Professor Huang Dong, Chairman of the Trauma Orthopedics Management Branch of the Guangdong Medical Industry Association. Professor Zhao Dewei, President of the Microsurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and other well-known domestic experts gave excellent academic lectures at the conference. This conference invited nearly 200 renowned experts in trauma orthopedics, microsurgery, and limb congenital malformation plastic surgery from home and abroad, including Professor Gao Weiyang, Professor Wang Bin, David P. Roye Jr., MD (Professor Luo Dewei), to attend.

Youth Physician Innovative Thinking Case Competition (Special Topics in Orthopedics and Microsurgery)

 

 

The conference also held a case competition for innovative thinking among young physicians (focusing on trauma orthopedics and microsurgery), and held a meeting of all members of the trauma orthopedics management branch. Several young doctors from Guangdong Province presented their excellent case presentations, and the judges and experts provided professional comments on the entries of the "Young Doctors Innovative Thinking Case Competition". Dr. Wang Xiaoli and Dr. Zhu Hongliang from Guangzhou Heping Orthopedic Hospital won the third prize.
